Default HEY MIKE! tire clearances

Hello once again Mike Childs, hope this finds you well. Mike I was wondering about rear tire clearances on your jeepster. I have a 67 jeepster that I have done a leaf over on and also mounted 33x12.50xR15's. The tire is physically larger than the fenders are at the bottom ( the widest point). I have 3 1/2"to 4" on the two lower points of the fenders and 7" at the top of the tire to the top of the fender. I was wondering what your clearances are on your jeepster. Also have you had any problems with the tires hitting the fenders during hard articulation, or normal road travel.

Hope this message gets posted this new BBS takes a little getting use to .

Thanks for now Fred ( holly jeepers)

My read fender wells are trimed about one inch all the way around which helps quite a bit. As the tire lifts up, they tuck right under the wells. I have light rubbing on the back inside of the well wall, but very light rubber marks.

Thanks, Mike Childs
