tires

Has anyone run 33x10.50x15 super swamper thornbird tires on their 7" SOA lifted Jeepster?
Are they any good? What is the actual tire diameter? Do they rub (I am asking because they have lugs sticking out in each side of the tire?

You shouldn't have any problems given the lift that you put in. I run 33x12.5 and I don't rub. Sometimes I rub the inner wheel well in the rear at the seat belt bolt. This is a sharp bolt that you should cut/grind off or better yet, replace with a smooth topped carriage bolt so if you do rub, it will not cause any damage.

The only thing I've heard about them is the noise on the freeway and they can develop flat spots in certain areas. Great for off-road though.
