Default Jeepster JAM 2012

Announcing the 2012 Jeepster Jam!
Hosted by the JCCA Eastern Region
Date: June 21st - 24th 2012
Location: Clinton, TN.

The JAM HQ & complimentary primitive camping will be at the Toad Ranch.
- We'll likely have the usual "circus tent" to congregate in & offer protection from the sun (or rain).
- Plenty of room for parking, tents, & RVs. There's no electricity or "facilities", but we'll have a rental-john. Running water from the hose pipe down the hill.
- Tater & I will set up the field shower, but each user will be required to top off the tank!

More details/registration info to follow.

Itinerary:
Thursday - Registration/check-in opens, and greeting both old & new friends. Our annual "Eat What You Brought" (bring your regional specialty & side) covered dish is legendary!

Friday - The "Hard Ride" (location TBA) is open to all those with a desire to test your Jeeps limits offroad. We'll try to split into groups that best match the trail ratings to your experience level/Jeeps equipment (Your Jeep must meet minimum safety requirements & signed Club waiver required). There will be side trips for those wishing to sight-see/shop. We'll likely visit a local restaurant for supper, before gathering for a campfire.

Saturday - The "Easy Ride"/Parade will afford us all a scenic drive and picnic lunch. Afterwards, we'll gather back at HQ for a Parts Swap, various technical seminars (let us know if you're willing to lead one), JAM voting & awards, Raffle, & supper. Ending with our closing campfire.

Sunday - Pack it up, say your goodbyes until next year, & have safe travels home!

To address a couple issues & constructive criticisms from past JAMs:
- We'll be working to segregate the HQ/parking from the camping area to cut down on vehicular traffic & noise near campers and hopefully provide some SHADE!
- We *WILL* be following the Saturday itinerary (Easy Ride, Swap Meet, etc) more closely... something we've failed at the past couple years.
