Default Alt Wiring Assistance
Can someone help me with wiring connections for the Alt, voltage reg, and coil? Need to verify my work and the manual is not clear nor color coded.

Default Alt. wire
best thing I found to do is to install a GM 1-wire alt. and get rid of the old reg. and wiring , haven't had any problems since and it's been 10 years an counting

For a one wire, battery positive to the big terminal on the alt. You will not, however, have a working indicator light in the dash.
