Default CJ Fuel Tank

I have bought a new CJ tank and sending unit for my commando. Can anyone tell me what the two side tubes are for? Thanks

The tubes are probably for the charcoal canister, if the vehicle was so equipped from the factory. Most just plug them up, but I'm sure you could track down a canister setup if you want it.

The label under your name is based on the number of posts you've made. Since you're pretty new, you're still a stranger. Welcome.

Thanks. If I plug them I assume I need a vented gas cap? Thanks again

Does that fit between the frame rails? How many gallons is it? I am in the process of buying this one from aero.

It fits but it is just a stock 15 gal. You have to move the filler tube from the back to the side.
