Wow good info. i too am looking at doing a SOA but was wondering if when you narrowed the front axle if you were able to use a stock replavement axle shaft or if you had to have a custom axle shaft made.

I sent the long shaft to Moser to be cut and resplined. Narrowed it is close to Wagoneer length but unless you want one side wider than the other you will need to be "custom" length. Cost was only about $80 to cut and ship so no worries. If you send more than one (spare?) it's cheaper.
