should I use 340, do they have pilot hole?

I can get a buick 340 with th400 for cheap. Motor no worse, probably better shape than my 225. Question, is engine worth using or wait to find a good B350. I would not be using tranny since it is 2wd and I have a rebuilt sm420 sitting on my bench. Does any one know if 340's crank has a hold for the pilot bearing?
