Default "3 on the Tree" Jeepster - searching

Hi Guys,

Hoping for some information from you experts ... I currently have a 71 and 72 and love them (http://www.noahsjeepstercommando.com). But I have been serching for information on a certian Jeepster model. One with manual transmission and shift on the steering console. I know one exists because I drove one 20 + years ago. But did not pay attention at that time ... now I looking to find one and don't even know what year or version. can anyone help with information?

Thanks in advance.

Noah

Could it have been a 48, 49 or 50 Jeepster. They had a 3 sped column shift.

Default jeepster with 3 on the tree

No. I know it was a Commando ... embarrassed to say I owned it and dont know the details ... just a foolish kid driving a strange jeep at the shore ... Only had it for a summer ... it was at the end of it's life and I had no interest in restoring ... so I sold it for a big $250 ... now that I'm interested ... cant find any information on year or type. Thanks in advance for the help. Noah

I think somebody put that in, because it was never offered that way in a Jeepster 4wd
