| | I took some more photos of my Jeepster after some mods and I want to show them. The problem is, I cant figure out how to have them show up in the post. Can you tell me how to insert a photo into one of these posts??
Thanks,

| | Mmmm... looks like I figured it out and didn't even know it. Oh well, at least I got it. The one pic shows the convertible with the top down, no roll bar. The other shows it with the roll bar put back in. I had to narrow the roll bar 6 inches to get the convetible top to retract. Note that when you started this post long ago I had the full size roll bar with the bikini top as it was configured by the PO.
So lets see, you started this post as motivation to keep Jeepsterin rather than getting into bike riding. I am curious about how you are doing with that dilema??
I will send another shot of my Jeepster when I get the convetible top mounted.
Regards,

Seem to be missing some pics dont know why.
Will be posting some updated pics of mine here soon.
No motorcycle for me.
Funny thing happened.
Some friends of mine have bought jeeps in the last 2 months and are out wheeling so I have new motivation to help me get er done.

| | Cool man. Its easier to share a jeep with the family and whole lot safer than a bike. Plus, its all seasons. Glad you have some buds to wheel with too.
The guys at EZ On Auto Tops are making some custom mods to my top. Since they are doing it for free I am not going to lean on them about schedule. So no telling when I will get the top back and mounted. Hopefully soon since monsoon season is going to be here early this year!!!!

| | Well, I guess since you made the decision to keep Jeepin rather than bikin the need for motivation has changed. Never the less, I attached a pic of my Commando with the convertible top up. I mounted the top this weekend. Its not quite done but it was done enough to take on on the highway in the rain yesterday. No leaks. I attached a pic.

| | Motivational? This thread hasn't been very motivational. I'm supposed to be out working on mine but I'm in here in my boxer shorts drinkin coffee and looking at every picture! I'm sure it will have some long term effects though! Especially when it's not 105o with 35% humidity!
The Las Vegas gestapo found a way to close virtually every square inch of dirt in the valley, even private property. They simply made it illegal to create dust!
Luckily we have miles and miles of desert in every direction from here. And then there is the Parashant National Monument... Even though these aren't Commando pictures, they are still inspiring to get our rigs together and get out there! YOu can't get to places like this on a cruiser! |
