Default towing

Hi

I don't know much...

Flat towing or dolly towing a 71 and/or 68 Jeep Commando...both with manual trannys...Do I have to worry about anything? Remove driveshaft or something. I know you do for certain years of CJ/YJs...not sure about Commandos/Jeepsters.

Thanks!
Patrick

I have flat towed my '71 Jeepster several thousand miles with no issues. I just put the transfer case in neutral and go. With the transfer case in neutral you should not have any problems.

I second that, should be fine if the transfer case and transmission are in neutral.

What years of CJ did you have to take the driveshaft out to tow? The ones with quadratrac? I'm asking in case I ever need to pull a CJ around.
