Default drive shaft specs

Hi

Would someone be able/willing to share with me some front and rear driveshaft specs out of a 1973 Jeepster/Commando with an automatic and a 258? Things like collapsed length, extended length, diameter, u-joint size...

Does anyone know what other jeeps they might work with?

Thanks!
Patrick

Default driveshaft

I have a rear driveshaft from a 73 commando with the I6 and a manual transmission I am willing to sell. It is 37.5" collapsed and 40" fully extended. I hope that helps and if you are interested let me know. --Jamie

Hi

I'm actually trying to sell my driveshafts out of the 73 Commando/auto/258.

I went out and measured but just wanted to compare what I have to what is supposed to be stock. I'm sure mine are stock...but when I go to cut something...I have to cut it twice due to my inablilty to use a tape measure

Thanks!
Patrick
