Default Door Interior Lock/Unlock Linkage Rattle

Jeepster Dudes,

The worst rattle in my doors right now is the linkage that goes from the interior door handle to the lock/unlock mechanism. The linkage rattles terribly at the two places where it is connected.

Does any one have any idea of the right way to fix that???

Slip a little piece of sponge over the rod so it touches something.

Excellent suggestion Rich!!!!! I was thinking of stretching a rubber band or some thing similar from the rod to the door but I like the sponge idea better because it only attaches in one place and thus has only a single point of failure.

OK, got the linkage rattle fixed. Tried to do Don Fletcher's window rejuvinating and discovered that two of the four window tracks are busted. Can any one direct me to the link for the guys that sell Jeepsters parts?????
