Joe,

That is very interesting. What wheel did you at Stockon? I'm about to run into that problem. If you still want to sell those centers how much are you wanting? I was just in Denver last weekend.

Justin,
I used a 15 x 7 "JJ" rim with the centers welded in with a 3.75" backspace to clear the TREs.. There's a wheel builder in Arvada, CO who could do these too, if you purchase my centers. Their name escapes me at the moment. I went to them first, but they didn't want to invest the time in searching for centers that would work. Keep in mind this was several years ago that I did mine. I vaguely recall the centers costing about $20+ each + shipping. If you want a set of 5, I'd let them go for $65. You could have all 8 or 9 for $90. I'd have to get something extra to do the bump buildup. Time is $.

Thanks for your interest.

How much extra bump buildup? I could use 5 of them for sure. I'm sure I understand the entire process but if I can get the baby moons to fit I'm all over it.

Thank You

Probably 1/16" or so on each of the 3 bumps. It's been a while since I had the set I had chromed. And, not physically comparing to the raw centers, I can't be 100%. I know they're close. I can check later today with a baby moon. One problem is the caps flex a bit. It'd be helpful to have a solid ring to see just how much is needed. The caps make it a bit of guesswork by not being able to see the amount of gap and because they can squeeze and flex a bit. I'll post again when I gather more data. PM me for email and phone info if you want them.
