Im thinking that pitman arms are tapered on the splines so I don't think that would work. If it does maybe I should look into that. Im trying to find an arm that will take a one ton TRE but cant find any listed on any sights and to lazy to call and ask!!

I am not sure if the pitman arm threads are tapered or not. I thought it was the threads on the box that were tapered but I am not sure.

Default pitman arm clearence

After much thought and bringing in a few experts to examine the pitman arm to tie rod clearence problem, it has been decided to simply move the steering box forward about 2 inches and also raise it up as much as possible. This will not only cure the existing problem but should help out with any future mods.

At the same time, we are going to install a ram assist steering system. I already have the P/S box and pump in place.

Sorry guys for not posting pics. I will figure out how to soon, LOL.
