Caver:

In this case, the Waggie piman arm is too long and causes the draglink to rub against the tie rod. The Waggie arm is shown next to the CJ arm in the first pic of the original post. The fourth pic shows the CJ arm mounted with the closeness of the draglink to tie rod.

We used Jeepster-length springs from Alcan when we did the lift so that the new D-44F would sit in the stock position of the wheel well as the original D-27F without changing spring hangers.

With this setup, we are able to go full left-right travel with the steering.

In the case of my rig that's soa and high-steer, the CJ application seems to work very well also enabling full left-right travel. Pic below.

Tim- that totally flat "fabbed" looking arm in the last post- where did you get that?

I have converted the D44 in my Scrambler to crossover steeing so I don't have to move the box forward. I need a perfectly flat arm about the length of a FSJ arm.
