I did a search on "Emblems" and only found information on the V6, Grill & the Tailgate 4 Wheel Drive emblems. Looking for some help on the "Commando" Hood emblem.
I have pulled my emblems off my 68 and going to touch-up &
restore them. I have and have seen good photo's of all of the rest of the emblems to get a good idea of what, and where the colors are. The exception is the "Commando" emblem on the hood. I have yet to view a good photo that shows what they looked like new. I can see where mine
looks as if it may have had the same gold color as the "Jeepster" with white background overlaying hood emblem.
But there is not enough left to be sure and what was used for the body of the text. I also have found that my
4 Wheel Drive emblem has broken in two. I didn't notice it
until I removed it due to the break was between mounting posts so now it has become two emblems. I would like to find a nice replacement if I can.

Have you tryed e-bay? I just bought some hub caps for my 68 about a week ago and i think i remember seeing some emblem's for sale. Can't hurt to try. Good Luck
