Leaving out now for the long road trip. Dang Bullnoses always have to throw a wrench into things..was talkin' with LW last night and we both thought about the bumper issue. I'm planning on using a bumper hitch setup that LW loaned me from one of his Jeepsters.......I guess the holes don't line up on the frame the same. So either I drill new holes, or I head to the local U-Haul and get a tow dolly.
Either way........the adventure starts now! Thanks for all the guys who offered up their numbers in case I need help along the way. Let's hope I don't and it's smooth sailin' to Asheville with "that nose" following me! Dennis.......LW said that the front clip can't stay at his place after October, so make some plans or it's going to the recycle place. He's got to keep a certain image with the "Den" and that clip won't help!
Are you guys serious bout ditching the bullnose front clip? Is it in New Bern or elsewhere? My Dad could slip up to New Bern and pick that front end up
Lizard just called me and said he was all hooked up
and just had to swap a tire. Says the tub is not in
that bad a shape. But the big surprise is that it was
an original half-cab. He said the bulk head was still
bolted up in it and was in good shape also.
