Default Lizard report

Well I'm at LW's with the Bullnose HC. The more we look at it, the more I'm thinking of not using any part of it, except all the optional equipment....that will be coming off of it. There's only a small dent the size of a golf ball at the very back of the rear quarter panel, other than that....dent free.
After looking it over, I've found out that it use to have a soft top half cab set up on it also. It's got the pre-drilled holes in the corner of the window shield frame and the snaps for the top. After looking at the bulk-head, it doesn't look like it ever had the hard top on it, so it most likely came with the soft top from the get go. I'm going to see if the original owner is still alive and see if I can contact her.
Well the road trip went off without a hitch...I couldn't believe the black plastic stayed on the front clip the whole way! ( used it to cover the front end up so no one would see it as I went down the road )

Here's a list that I found so far:
1. A/C unit
2. Power Steering
3. Power brakes
4. Swing away tire/gas can rack
5. Bulkhead for half cab setup
6. Cigar lighter
7. trailer hitch
8. tinted windows (factory)

I'll see if I can't take some better detailed photos tomorrow when we get back from another road trip.
Signed,
Lizard

Lizard,
I salute you for keeping something that ugly covered up for that many miles.

No telling how many lives you saved, from being scared off the highway.

Think you'd have to fight with Dennis over that stuff, he's a Bullnoser also.

You were just SCARED! A few hours of gazing at that Bullnose beauty in the rearview would have brought you over to the darkside! *THAT'S* why you covered it up!

Default Re: LW\'s via New Bern

Can't tell you what a releif it was to me that I made it all the way from Chapel Hill to New Bern on Saturday morning without seeing a Commando hooked up to another vehicle sitting beside the road. Glad the pull went well.

Saw 2 Commandos and a Jeepster near Atlantic beach on Saturday. Mando's were a yellow with black grill and trim on 32's maybe, a white one that looked mostly stock. The peepster was near the same color as RQ's on 30's or so...All looked nice and clean. Didn't get to stop to look at any of them though.
