Anyone that's looking for a Bullnose project I know a little about the one listed in Annapolis, in the classifieds. Colin is good people and a Jeep guy with a real nice CJ. I can get pictures for anyone that wants them. I can also grab it and store it for a short while if anyone is interested but doesn't have the time to come and grab it.
Colin reads here but I don't know if he's registered. He'll call me if I've left something out.
72 Jeep Commando with title.
It runs and drives.
It has a black soft top that's a little stretched out from snow.
It has the I6 and manual tranny.
The interior is complete and pretty decent from what I remember.
The floors are good but the rest of the body needs work.
There's a weber carb on it.
Other than that it's basically a stock base model Commando.
It is located about 30 minutes from my house. He's asking $1,100.00 obo. If, one of you wants it but are holding off pursuing it because you can't make a road trip anytime soon I can pick it up and steal par...err store it for you for a short time.
Don't let the I6 scare anyone away - it's a nice long running motor and 360's are a dime a dozen if you must have a V8.
Sean:
How about getting some photos for me.
I need a good tub bad, and I'm really getting an itch to get started on my project...
I'll try and get in touch with Colin tomorrow. I have a few parts Commandos as well. How bad is your tub? Worth saving with a donor tub to cut from or a total basket case?
It's pretty much a total basket case...
One good thing, though. The drive train only has 44,000 actual miles.
I've got a complete NOS front clip, so I want to get a fairly decent tub to go with it. This is pretty much a total restoration project, not a trail ride.
