Big Al,
The engine is looking nice. Where'd you get the Buick Green from and did you order the valve stickers from the CJ guy?

Thanks for the kudos...I bought this 71 pretty much restored. I am one of those mechanically challenged individuals. Oh, I can change a belt and do a tune-up, but as far as gears, axles, trannies etc. forget it. Don't have the place, time, tools or background. The decals and Buick green was done in 98 by a previous owner.

Some on this board saw it at the Toad Jam and I believe were truly impressed. I don't claim any bragging rites...just trying to keep it pretty much stock so that maybe in a generation or so, others know what one really looked like before it got modified into something it isn't.

Wish I could help you but don't know where they came from.

Glad you're back aboard.

Big Al
