I though of doing that. But i had a few concerns...

first of all on my jeep the front fenders were in such bad shape, There almost entirly remade. unfortanttly I know of no ways to form metal into the complex angles of a bullnose front fender, so there is a lot of fiberglass patchwork over some of the gaps to smothe things out.

Secondly you would have to support the rad supurt to the firwall. Also notice how it is designed to flex. With the weight of the front clip all on the bottom of the rad support, somethings going to want to move around some, and reinforcing it, may loose some of the flex

thirdly id be conceredof the general strenghth of the front clip with in no longer attachted to the firewall. Also dont forget everthing on the front clip that conects to something that isnt conected to the fenders ie battery and emissions stuff, will also need thought. Also ive yet to see a one piece front end that lines up right, especialy on a jeep.

but best of all, no one seems to have done it, so go for it. and then youll know!. then every one will want to copy you.

ps you could just buy a cj one piece front clip and make it fit. then maybe itll be stronger

I believe Jeepster Jim has the fiberglass hoods and fenders(for Jeepsters). After the first time it is pretty easy to remove the fenders as needed. You can just leave the grill and rad. on and work on the engine, brakes and front axle
