Default What\'s it\'s value?

Ran across this ad - you can always ask too much, somebody may pay it!

I think someone's wife said, "You have to sell your Commando!"

Answer: "Honey, I put it up for sale for three months and no one even called me about it!"

When I first bought mine I got 2 for $2800, one no engine or tranny in one, just for parts, the other one fair but needed lots of small stuff.

I put an ad in for $8995 - doesn't hurt to keep a copy of that just in case of insurance claims when they want to tell you it's not worth anything. (Save a few high priced ads, just in case.)

A girl about 25 answered the ad, came to see it - the good one - she was going to take it at that price - didn't even drive it - she just "liked the way it looked."

I suddenly got cold feet, I didn't really want to sell it, so I talked her out of it - can't get parts, needs work all the time - no creature comforts etc.

Finally she said "I can see you like it and changed your mind - that's OK, I'll find another."

That may have been the day two fools met.

It never hurts to ask way too much if you aren't in a hurry, sometimes it works.

Good idea about keeping adds for insurance company. Never thought about that. Gonna have to steal that idea.
