Powerloc ?

Just a quick question. I finally got the gears set right in the Dana 30 and I am puting everything back on.
I wanted to confirm that you need limited slip fluid in the housing for the Powerloc. I have tons of 85/90 gearlub but I have to search the stores for limited slip lube(doesn't sell often)!!

I've been told that without the lim-slip the clutches will wear out very quickly. I've also been warned that if you have a "quick-lube" kind of place service your diff..... it is wise to watch them add the lim-slip..... otherwise you might not get it. Stock optioned diffs with powr-locs came with metal tags hanging from one of the cover bolts that said something like "add lim-slip".

Thanks Cherrypicker, I know that all my other limited slips needed the different lube. I wasn't sure if the Powerloc had clutche plates or not. I try not to have anyone else service my rig but me. Heard too many horror stories.
