adaptors for jeepsters

What adaptors are avalable and for what type of motors for a jeepster. Since the buick V6 seems to be a problem child what are the options?

You should fill out your Bio so we know who we're talking to.
If you do a search you'll see that a Buick 350 is a bolt in with some sheet metal work. The bolt pattern is for Buick, Olds, & Pontiac. Adapter Mfg's make em so you can fit anything to about anything.
I don't know what you mean that the Buick is a problem child. Tell that to Kieth black.

Filled out the bio page...Do a search where? Thats why I came to this forum to find out how and where to search. This is my first jeep and so in trying to learn about the vehicle I read several messages on this forum that gave the impression that there were several differnt problems with the V6 buick motor...My wife was looking at the forum with me and was the typist, the problem child thing was her interpretation of the posts we read....my composition this time...I thought Keith Black was a Chevy man.

The 225 V-6 is actually a nice little work horse of an engine, the odd-fire aspect makes them idle a tad rough, but hey it's a Jeep. What year vehicle do you have? There are several other motors that will fit, some take fairly extensive work, I don't know of any that will drop right in except the 231, and even then I think there's a few mods. How handy are you with a wrench/torch etc.

What is a 231...is a a buick engine? If so what cars are they in and what years? Not really handy with the wrench, but good with bartering.

Yes, it's a Buick motor, I pulled my last one out of an 81 Camaro. They came in lots of mid sized GM cars in the 70's and 80's very easy to find. The 225 is a great motor, if you can keep it.
