One of my '69s has a metal top that does not cover the holes on the side when mounted on the vehicle. I presume these are for canvas top snaps that can be mounted permanenty. The parts veh has the snaps screwed in the body above these holes.. Is there a soft top to fit this lower location or will it need to be taken to local shop for fabrication... If the lower location could be used it would be nice when replacing the hard top in winter...

Thanks... The Commandos were bolted onI went back and checked the two Commandos just had the top bolted on top of side rail... I had failed to check the 71 which was bolted as you said... Thanks

There are black plastic plug caps you can buy to pop in those holes. Three-eighths is the size (???) I think. Forget where I saw them, but they are not that hard to find. Pep Boys, maybe.
