Springs and Things

I'm a new comer @ modifying stuff and really rather ignorant. Therefore need I some advice. I have a '68 Commando that needs new springs. One of my questions is how much extra arch can be put in them befor the beast starts behaving rudely upon the hiway?

its kind of a loaded question, one that depends on many factors. the biggest being, what size tire are you running? this subject has been gone over extensively. do a search. if you don't find what you are looking for, or just want to bounce off some ideas, we'll be here.

This is going to be a daily driver and a Right of Way runner. Think I'll stick with 30 to 32 by 8.50 or 9.50's, keep the springs under the axel. Will do some searching.
