Default Beginning

I just purchased a 1969 Jeepster Commando. I am interested in possibly restoring it. Any advice on where to start to see if it is worth restoring or just keep driving it the way it is.

Post a pic if you got one. Ask any question. Chances one of us has already dealt with it. Use search feature for topics. You're in the right place for info and help. Welcome and don't be shy. Check out the eastern Chapter Site www.dem.com/ajcec there's a registration form and a link to locate people in your area. I believe there are 4 or 5 registered in MA.

Welcome Tim,
We encourage restos and wheelers.
You'll have to start by fixing it so don't get too far ahead of yourself.
Deal with rust and bad repairs from previous owners(PO), then incorrect engineering from the designers from the 60's and 70's.
After all of that, you'll probably have a good idea where you want to go with it, especially if you come to an Eastern Jeepster Jam!
