304 in a Jeepster on ebay

The only hacking I can see is on the sides of the radiator frame to accomodate the headlights. The PO also installed a tranny cooler right in front of the lower half of the radiator and the grill. I'll be posting some pictures in a new thread in the next day or two.
Am I correct in thinking that a similar era Gladiator's instrument cluster would swap in?

Do some research on Pre-72 tub designs, I think you'll see that you have a complete pre-72 body on that vehicle. Check the inside rear fender wells, 72 and 73 had 45 degree angles along the top edge, yours doesn't. All the signs from the photo point to pre-72.......not that it matters but I don't think you have a 72-73 body on that. It would be interesting to know if they used a pre-72 frame or if they dropped the engine/trans into an older frame.
