Starter Troubles

Had our starter rebuilt and now it does not want to engage the flywheel on a regular basis . Help? John

I am not going to tell you anything to do because of my lack of knowlege, but there are shims to get the ring gear and starter gear clearances just right, or you have to grind it down? Beats me really. Jus don't run it now, you will jack up your ring gear, swear real loudly, then be in for a long weekend of hard work.
