Default corp 20 to dana 44 rear end brake compatability qu

I have an amc 20 with the 12" brakes and they are ALL new. I just purchased a dana 44 rear and was wondering if my brakes will transfer to the dana.<br><br>

While I can't say for sure, in my case, the brakes did transfer over without any problems. I swapped out my AMC 20 for a fullsize Dana 44 axle from an older International pickup truck. Drums, shoes, hardware was all interchangeable. Hopefully your swap will be the same.
