Driveline rebuild prices

I need to get my stock front driveline rebuilt, (34 1/4" running length) no cv. They want about $200.00 at the local machine shop, w/new u-joints. Is that reasonable?

Everyday travel is off-roading in this town....

I just had my front done 33" from denny's driveshaft, and it cost $165.

Up here it's $15 for each U-joint, $40 for balancing, $20 for a cut and weld. Not sure about a retubing though, that's a little more. To have one rebuilt with a new slip spline is about $75. So depending on what you get, it could cost you a little more. What needs to be replaced?
