Anyone ever been to Silver Valley Jeep Jamboree?

I've never been to any Jeep Jamboree, but there is one a few hours away in Wallace, Idaho. It's the Silver Valley Jeep jamboree. I'm just wondering if it's worth the $200 dollars per person to go.
Thanks,

Dan, check out the brand new issue of Four Wheeler magazine. It features a writeup of the Silver Valley JJ.

Re: Anyone ever been to Silver Valley Jeep Jamboree?

My wife and I just went to the YO Ranch Jamboree. It was a lot of fun and my wife had a really good time. This is a bonus because as soon as we got back she wanted to do another Jamboree and she let me put gears and lockers on our CJ. It only takes a few hours off-road to turn any chick into a JeepChick. The Jamboree was well organized and the trails were easy to moderately difficult. There were only a couple of trails that required being fully locked and they had bypasses. If you are hardcore you will probably get bored. If you enjoy being around other Jeepers and having a good time on the trails it is worth the $200.

Re: Anyone ever been to Silver Valley Jeep Jamboree?

Gentlemen,
Jeep Jamboree's are the worlds best kept secret for getting our wives or girlfriends involved. What is so great is that there is almost as many wives and girlfriends as there is guys...hence, they have someone to talk too while we go drink beer with the other guys and compare hardware. If you really want to get you other half on board...take her to a jeep jamboree...its worth the money...Like Tom, I got gears, solid axels, and an ARB for Xmas....and my fiance can't wait until May for the Big Bear Jamboree....she's hooked.
