Question Looking for a reputable Jeep mechanic in NJ

My father-in-law bought my Jeep from me about 7 years ago, and now it just sits, needing all new brake lines, and there is a short somewhere in the engine's wiring harness. My mother-in-law wants to have it towed somewhere to have the work done, since I'm not up here enough to do the job. They live in the Middletown/Red Bank area. It's a 95 YJ w/ a 4.0.

Anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks
Bryan

You might try pinging Pontiac58. He hasn't been on the board for quite a while, but he's from that part of the world somewhere.

And for the brake lines, when I rebuilt my CJ I got stainless steel pre-bent lines from Classic Tubes. They fit well and haven't rusted yet.

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Thanks Jim. I remember that there were a few NJ folk on the board, but I've been pretty absent as well.

Hey Bryan,

I don't know whether you were planning on going the dealership route or not, but I've heard good things about Freehold Jeep. Just what I've heard. Can't hurt to call and get a quote.
