Lifted the WJ

Hey guys!

Yeah, I know, this is SWB. But this is 'home', and I still have the YJ, so hopefully it's ok with you all to post some WJ content.

I lifted the Expedition/Overlanding WJ last week. 3" IRO, with a 10mm OME spacer all around, Bilsteins, and 265-75-16 Goodyear Wranglers.

Really liking this Jeep! Rides great, windows down, sunroof open, cruising along, and when it rains you close it up. I've carried lumber in it (seats down, a few 2x4s from the back up between the front seats), carried my old tires back from the tire place, carried my suspension home... these things are big! Well, compared to the old TJ and the YJ anyway.

Anyway, really digging this. Hope you're all well.
Here's a few shots. Ha, guess I gotta change my sig.
Pete

88YJ: Old, noisy, slow, and just generally wonderful. Wheeling Jeep.
04WJ: Less old, less noisy, less slow, daily driver Jeep.

Yeah, you're always welcome, Pete, even if you do go over to the dark side occasionally.

That looks like a mighty nice vehicle to be bashing around in the woods!

EVERYTHING's easy for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Thanks Jim. The YJ is for wheeling, the WJ is my DD and will be just for camping and exploring, not real bashing in the woods. Fear not, though, the YJ will get some new rear springs this year, a new gas tank, and a few other bits to get it ready for this Fall's wheelin' trip.

You COULD come to the Bash, you know. It's only a two day drive in a CJ7. A young CJ7, that is. It's been thirty years since I drove it to Pittsfield.

I like it... a lot!

Is this the only hammer you've got?
