Default Ugly as sin but back on the road.

Well, the tj is back roadworthy. With pealed deer fenders and a hood that looks like its dumb ass owner forgot to latch it down one day in desperate need of something other than the 34 in LTB swampers that are on it, but it is back.

I got it up to 50 today without having any jeep jump. You know when the jeep wants to jump in the ditch, and you thought death wobble was scary! It still has a tightness about it I don't like. It is as if it has to work to move. With 34's 4.11 and 4 angry chipmunks, maybe it does?

I seem to have a mouse nest in the bell housing. I guess if I am gonna pull it apart I just as we'll put in a new clutch kit. I am half convinced it can't really hurt anything in there that won't be replaced anyway right?

If no further surprises arise I plan to hunt for a hood and either make tube fenders out of my deer damaged ones or replace them. It almost feels like working on old iron. Every bolt breaks off and I still have to take a grinder to it to get it apart.

Well if you are still reading this thanks for listening to my babble have a great week.

That's great! But maybe you should hold off on the hood and fenders until you see what Dumba$$ thing you do next.

And I sure wouldn't pull the transmission for a mouse nest in the bell housing. It's not going to hurt anybody but the mouse.

Going to make the Bash? It sure would be nice to see you again. What's it been, four years?

At least 4 years! I hope to Jim. With my parents getting older, and my business/ family obligations I find it harder and harder to plan very far out these days. I am hopefully that I can make it and know I have a boy and a girl who would love to be there.

Someone was circulating a rumor to that effect, but I didn't believe it.

whats ugly the jeep or the owner???????

I know were one of those dents came from. I seem to remember someone yelling, tree, treee, TREEEEEE.

I had serious thoughts of coming this year. Then my mom planned a disney trip for the family and there went my vaca time.

I remember that tree! Well hitting it! That was back when I was trying to shape he fenders!
Would be good to see you. I am not sure I will make it but it won't be because the jeep is down. If I make it I will be going grandpa style, slow easy and nothin stupid.

I still have a little drivability issue, almost acts like there is too much toe in. Really wants to go straight. We will see, might be those damn 34 in tires, it is really working to run 50.
