I have a 1998 tj and the gauges (speed and tach) stop working when the air bag light comes on. Have any of you had this problem and how you fix it ? |

The water in the floorboard is likely the flaw on the 97/98 if you have AC. there is a drain that get clocgged for the ac core. you can put a alight air streem up the tube and it will clean it out temporaily and stop the water in the floorboard. My TJ when I would spray it out with a garden hose, the guages would go all crazy. I had a ac core changed under warranty and they put silacone on the connections behind the dash and it hasnt happened since. but I also dot spray the dash with a hose anymore.
