Default Jack Stands

OK. About a year ago I thought I saw a set of jack stands, probably on a car show, that were infinitely adjustable. It was like they had steel shot in them. You would jack up whatever, slide these under, pull up to contact the frame, then let down the vehicle. To remove jack up car, slide out, then silt on side to allow to colapse. Anybody else hear of these thins. I want a pair for a piece of industrial equipment as stabilizers. Orrrrrrrrrrrr.....am I going NUTS!

Well, I wouldn't say you're nutz, but I've never seen anything like that. Sounds interesting though.
