Default Thanksgiving weekend

We're putting together our annual trail riding trip for Thanksgiving weekend. If the weather permits, we'll go to Land Between the Lakes. If it's too wet, they close so that the trails aren't damaged. If that looks likely we'll go back to Van Buren. Toby is in. Last night I talked to Bob, and he's in. Who else?

I only count four characters - you, Bob, Toby and me.

lol. It wouldn't let me reply with just "I'm in." And there will probably be 5 characters... Amy too.

I talked to a lady earlier about the accomodations at LBL. The Wrangler Campgrounds seems to be the best for our needs (showers, hook-ups , etc.) It is about 9 or 10 mi. from the OHV(off highway vehicle)area where there are more than 100 miles of trails of varying degrees of difficulty. The only hitch is the weather ! She stated that the trails can be closed if the area receives an excessive amount of rain. To check on the conditions you can call 1-270-924-2000 - - press #3 for closing info., for camping availability, press #5. She did say, that it normally takes quite a good storm to close the trails. If anyone wishes to check out" The Land Between The Lakes " web site , go to - -www.lbl.org, there's alot of info on this sit w/ links to other info. Turkey Bay OHV Area is our destination. To reach this destination, go 21 miles east of Paducah,KY on I-24 to the Grand Rivers exit, then south about 20 miles to Wranglers Campground.

Sorry Guys, our year to throw the extended family Thanksgiving Dinner here...
Will have about 75 of the extended family here to shoot clays, eat until no one can move, tell lies, look at old pictures, and generally catch up on each others lives for the past year...

Would love to come, but can't throw this off unless I'm dead...

I'll make sure Kerry knows about it!

I just took al look at the map. Its about 200miles for me, I may be able to make Friday night and wheel Saturday with everyone.

Then I am heading to Kansas on Sunday to do a little hunting.

That would be great, Brad! My buddy Mike, who navigated the 100 Acre Wood for me last year, is coming along. It'll be a fun group.
