Driving without guages

OK - So I took the steering wheel off - pretty proud of myself. Even numbered the orer. But now forget what I hell I did. Looks like steering wheel goes back on first and the white post with metal push rod (assuming this is for the horn) goes through the hole in the steering wheel. Now, I am at a loss. Does anyone have a step-by-step with pictures on how to put it back on. You are all probably sick of these stupid questions, so thanks in advance for those taking pity on my ignorance.
