That was fun to watch.
I was wondering if there was a diesel in that rig, it sounded like one, and there was a whole lot of black exhaust. Perhaps the cylinders were loading up with oil meant for the mains.

Black smoke from a diesel is just "over fueling" (dumping more fuel than rpm/air intake demand)... occasionally my CTD will burp a little soot just like that Quote:

| It could, but it would also cause misfire... black, rich, smoke from the oil as well as the unburned fuel.
