Steel is great, but just to emphasize my earlier point. Don't build your fuel system for the pressure it runs at for the part of the loop that normally sees pressure (pump to regulator). Build it for the potential pressure the pump could make for the whole loop from the pump back to the tank. If there is a pinch in the line then the regulator is no longer in charge of the pressure, it is all up to the capacity of the pump and how much of a restriction the pinch is making.

My return is built with the same stuff as the supply side.....FI rated hose from the tank to 1/4" SS line down the frame...short pice of rubber to get to the fuel line to go up the back of the engine to the TBI...same on the return side.

However...I have read on another forum where the return should really be 5/16". But these are guys who are asking for a bit more power....

BTW....the fix seems to have cured the 'chugging' problem I had...I suspect that I was getting pockets of air out the TB...I'll find out in a week or so what effect it had on emissions.

Check the return pressure. If it's too high, go to the larger line (which is what I did). Otherwise, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
