That, of course, Is FICTITIOUS...
I changed from "TeamRush" because my Domain Name, TeamRush.com got hijacked.
So I changed the web site name to 'Junk Yard Genius',
And at that time, and for that reason,
I changed the USER NAME HERE, to Junk Yard Genius.
The reason I was banned here was I took a stand on religion when the site was being overrun with 'Believers'...
Now the 'True Believer' with the moderator button is gone,
I'm back.

And that was shortly after you were banned from POR.
|
Wrong again, I'm still on POR. I just don't go there much.
If you give me your POR log on name, I'll be glad to log on long enough to send you a private message from my POR account.

Those bannings expired, then you resurfaced here.
|
Wrong AGAIN!
Actually, the 'Ban' was lifted when the religion Nazi took a powder, and I was ASKED to come back over.

If you really are moderator somewhere, you'd be bragging about it constantly.

Why, it's the internet and ANYONE can have a board for a few bucks on software and server space...
Being an 'Internet Expert' is about as prestigious as being a retired janitor.
Company sites like AirHeads & RideTech,
Survival sites, like HardCore Survival,
A couple of sustainable living sites,
One alternative energy site...
Mostly just hobby sites, and a couple of business sites like this one...
Why do you think I don't get ruffled when people get wound up?
I've seen/heard it all before ON THE INTERNET!
I don't care anymore, means nothing to me...

Just look at this thread - the guy needed help - you go off on a tangent about high voltage leakage - totally irrelevant.
|
Nope, I gave the 'OPINION' that I agreed with Jim_Lou and sounded like the switch was 'Dead'...
Then I explained that even at vehicle voltage, you would both encounter resistance at 'Closed',
And conductivity at 'OPEN' with a run of the mill Multi-Meter...
And I explained WHY you might get those readings in automotive switches.
No mention at all about 'High Voltage'.
Completely USEFUL information if you are working on something and you have a Digital Multimeter...
Just explaining the readings you WILL find if you actually take the time to TEST...

Taz went the other way - he talked about minute resistance being the trouble.
|
I have no idea what taz posted, he's on 'Ignore' here.
There are small amounts of resistance in ANY conductor,
And small amounts of continuity in EVERY Insulator...
That's why they call it
ELECTRICAL POTENTIAL instead of
ELECTRICAL FACT...

Neither of you had any sort of grasp on what to do - and it's such a simple problem.
|
Actually,
the problem was solved WITHOUT YOU in the first 3 or 4 posts...
Found out the switch wasn't working, recommended replacment.
Issue OVER,
Discussion begins,
And you got lost, then got mad!

There are lots of people in this world just like both of you - fools - many get elected, that's why this country is in such big trouble now.
|
There sure are!
People like me make progress every day while still dealing with people like you and taz!

At least Taz admitted he rode in a Jeep once. You've never put up a picture of yours, not under any name.
|
Again,
I've BEEN to Jeep events with people from this forum...
I'm an actual and REAL person, and EXACTLY what I represent myself to be...
So I REALLY don't need to run around banging every post with pictures of my vehicles...
If you want to see a few, then click on the links below,
Or go to one of my web pages and have a look at the 'Building Of' threads of different projects...

This would be the dual ignition project YOU SWORE COULDN'T BE DONE...

This would be the on board air that pressurizes my ignition, axles, transmission/transfer case YOU SAID WAS FICTION,
It's advanced some since these pictures, it has electrical solenoids for controls now, stuff like that...

This would be the Jeep I drove to RedBird when I met with JB Tater (OMG! He DOES Look like Jay Sherman!), Sweetpea, Jim_Lou, Kentucky Crawler, Crazy Eddie, ect.
And it's setting in front of one Jeep J-20 truck I purchased for $75, pulling the J-20 Truck I purchased from Jay Anger,
(Anyone remember Jay Anger and SWB-BBS

)

Here is another shot of my J-20 Jeep trucks before movement to the 'Jeep Pasture'...

Jim_Lou has seen the Chevy truck in the alley behind the red J-20, I delivered an AMC 20 FSJ differential to him in it.
Here are the J-20 trucks with one of the Scouts I have at the 'Jeep Pasture' out at the family farm, along with one of the CJ-7's I've accumulated down through he years...

This is a random shot of one of the AMC 360 CID engines I have in the garage ready to install when I break something...
Since I used to do this for a living, keeping two or three in reserve ready to install isn't out of my reach...
But I don't 'BRAG' about it unless some jerk calls me out...
http://www.junkyardgenius.com/images/pickup1.gif
I don't have pictures of the THM-400 Autos that are rebuilt and ready to install, but if you insist on being rude about things, I can go out and take some...
How about the TF A-727's, have any interest in them?
And just for the record,
Here is a picture of my 'Cruiser'... '68 Bonneville,

Now, tell me again how I'm a 'FIGMENT' of someone's imagination and a floating 'Expert' on the internet and my opinion of things will never translate to actual productive information or come out as usable, physical product.... ???
I do this stuff every day (Engineering everything from wiring harnesses to suspension components to designing safety cages...) so giving me a hard time about what I know and do won't get you ANYTHING but blue in the face and a headache... Because I don't care...
As many of these conversations as you have gotten into and been proven wrong time after time,
I would think you would take a much lighter approach so you have a way out when you get proven wrong again...
