Parking break Questions (E-break)

I am just getting around to installing a parking break in my 73 cj-5. I only have one problem... I dont know the first thing about breaks! I just installed a break lever from a 96 Cavalier, and fabricated an equalizer(since no one at advance had the slightest idea what an equlizer was) and attached the cable from the lever to the 2 cables going to the break drums on each side.
NOW comes the part I know nothing about. I dont think there are any parking break components in the break drum at all.
Can any one tell me/ illustrate/ name and point out the parts I need to connect and tell me how?

Here are pictures of the brakes they were using in '74, but I'm not sure they were the same as '73. Are yours self-adjusting? If you want bigger, clearer pics, send me an e-mail address - they're too big to post.

You can buy a kit that includes all of the little pieces - everything except the lever and the bar that activates the rear shoe.
