Default Windshield frame

The frame on the cj is getting thin. The bottom is rotting . The wipers are binding up. So
i was wondering If you guys have any recomendations on a new one? I've seen ads in omix, whitneys and a few others. If anybody has good or bad stories I would appreciate them. The wealth of knowledge on this board is great. It's a 77 cj5 with a glass tub.

When I replace the windshield frame again.. it will be fiberglass. However, they tend to flex at highway speeds. When they flex, the windshield can pop out. I'm installing bumpers so that the windshield frame will lay against the roll cage, preventing the flex.

Otherwise, if you want the best metal frame you can get, go with Willys Overland...

I bought one from Quadratec.com and liked it. It was well built and fit perfectly. Plus the price was good.
