need help on finding insurance co for cj8 scrambler

hi can anyone give me some help on a insurance co that will work with me on a real value of the scrambler. i filled out a quote on line with GRUNDY WORLDWIDE but they just got back to me and said the cj8 scrambler can not be covered by them as they do not fell it is a collector or antique . i gav e them all the info that i only use the jeep on weekends and very low miles and it is a pleasure use only . i asked for a argreed amount of $25,000 which is what i do want the value set at. can anyone give me some help on a company that will do this. i want to get insurance on it soon like first of sept for the trip to sd thanks

I went through this on my Jeep with a couple of companies, but couldn't get any to agree on a value. Finally I insured it with my regular company on a replacement value policy. My agent said that the likelilhood of it being totaled or stolen without recovery is pretty slim, and they would repair any lesserr damage for whatever it cost.

I have a lot of notes and correspondence with the agent and just hope I never have to get into clanging heads together over what it's worth. I gave a lot of pictures to the agent and also sent copies of correspondence with a company building stainless steel TJ bodies, so I should be able to establish its value if I have to.

i went through that when i insured my Harley. I finally went with progressive, and they didnt argue with me at all on a stated value.
