Default Be careful out there....

A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix. The doctors operated and advised him that all was well.

However, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at the hairs in his crotch. Worried that it might be a second surgery the doctors hadn't told him about, he finally got enough energy to pull his hospital gown up enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable.

Taped firmly across his pubic hair were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily. Written in large black letters was the sentence:

'Get well soon'....from the nurse in the Jeep you pulled over last week...

Everyone hated the Sargent - he treated everyone like slaves. He was called in to take his annual physical exam. One of the guys "borrowed" a doctor's smock and a fake beard, and told him to lie down on the table - he was going to take his temperature. The Sargent objected, but the fake doctor told him it was more accurate that way.

The Sargent was laying on the table for quite awhile - the door was open, everyone passing by giggled. Someone even took a picture.

Finally a nurse came in - "Sargent - what are you doing?"

"Can't you see I'm getting my temperature taken? Haven't you ever seen someone doing it the most accurate way?"

"Yes, lots of times, -------------- but never with a Lily!

Don't forget the X-ray techs

Real story...

A RN at the hospital I work gets pulled over by a State Trooper. She was going pretty fast. He's preparing the ticket when the nurse says, " you were in a bad wreck about two years ago". The Trooper says "Yes I was". She says, "I took care of you in ICU; you threw-up on me". He says we're even and tears up the ticket.

Then there's the totally Dumb!

A couple years ago there was a head-on collision right in front of my house. A drunk was driving on the wrong side of the road (2 lane country road) and he hit a pick-up truck. It was at low speed, nobody hurt, pick-up's bumper bent a little, the Drunk's Jap car was totaled.

Cops came. While they were there another pick-up stopped in the middle of the street, blocking everything. A guy got out and barely staggered (he could hardly walk) up to the cop and said "Anything I can do to help?"

"Have you been drinking?"
"A little."
"How much is a little?"
"2 6 packs, not much for me."

After the cop put the drunk in his car, he looked at me and said "Out here they volunteer to be arrested!"

About 3 decades ago I responded to a vehicle over the bank at the West end of the Hood Canal bridge. I was the first guy there and it took me and the rest of the rescue crew about 45 minutes to get the driver up the bank and out to the hospital in Pt. Townsend.

Four years later I met the driver again... in a hospital in Seattle. He worked on my son... and repayed the favor.
