Ok....I'm getting closer....
Dash is installed and I can now tell how much gas I have.....I still have a few more things to do.....ok...a lot of things to do....
As for speakers....Scott...that won't work for me....I intend to have my center console go up into that area....
Are you going to be in the office tomorrow? I need to pick your brain regarding a problem my mother-in-law is having with her puter.

The wiring has been de-Andyized....passed the smoke test, I can now see how much gas is in the tank....and how low my battery voltage is....I think my Optima battery has reached it's life.....I think I've had it about 8 years so I can't really complain.....funny though....it still starts just fine.....need to confirm with a 'real' voltmeter....

First of all, kudos on the instrument panel. Suuuuu-per nice job! I have absolutely no sense of smell so I like to have oodles of gauges in my rigs to clue me in when something is getting hot. My 3/4T GM has a temp gauge in the rear cover of the 14-bolt axle. I don't have one in the SM465 or the NP205 because they are pretty much bulletproof. I had concerns about the rear axle since I have put all the power of a built 350 into that 14-bolt in second-under for like thirty minutes on killer upgrades and it was nice to know it was handling it OK at 265 degrees F. If I had my choice I would have a temp gauge for each bank of a "V"engine, a tranny temp gauge on the tranny pan if it was an automatic, and of course fuel pressure, amps, volts, and....water system PRESSURE. Two vacuum gauges, one for manifold and one for the reservoir, an intake air temp gauge, two oil pressure gauges, and a speedometer. I needed to do a quickie installation of an oil temp gauge so we used ordinance tape and taped the sender to a metal pipe that ran to the cooler. It seemed to work OK, and when we finally had time to do it right, the values were about the same. Oh.... and one more thing.....forget getting anything done this weekend.
