Default Way OT, looking for soms old song titles

Here I go again, I find myself looking for song titles and have stumped all my local resources.
1. "there is something happening here, what it is aint exactly clear, theres a man with a gun over there....everybody stop hey whats that sound everybody look whats goin round."

2. "In 1814 we took a little trip along with cornel Jackson along the Mmighty issisp, we took alot of bacon and we took alot of beans and we fought the British in the town of New Orleans, we fired our guns and the British kept a comin, there wasnt as many as there was a while ago, we fired once more and they began a-runnin all the way to the golf of Mexico"
Thanks

The first one: "For What It's Worth", a popular 1960s song written by Stephen Stills

And I think #1 was by Buffalo Springfield, not Jefferson Airplane.

FYI, take a portion of the lyrics and google it. more often than not you can find the lyrics on line. but note, It's not always teh origianl artist acredited with the lyrics. more searching may be needed.

Have you tried using playlist.com
I know you have posted before trying to find song's. I like this becuase you don't have to wait for the song's to download and it's free. My son has another one that he uses but I can't remember the name of the site....

I actually have that Album! In its original packaging. Battle of new orleans, Sink the Bizmark, Jonny Reb,the reubin James, Snow shoe thompson,... and much much more on one single vinyl disk! (spin at 33 1/3 rpm for best performance)
Bet that last line thru a few youngsters for a loop!

I think a few years later than '60. '63 or '64 is my guess.
