hello well i did it again. I got another change and project for the cj 8 , i just won auction for a new set of bestop part number 75117-01 power running boards for jeep wrangers and unlimited 03 to 06 and i need to know how much if any problems i should expect to run into on mounting to my 1981 cj8 scrambler. From the looks of the install info i down loaded shows mounting to frame so i my thinking/hoping not too much difference between the cj and the newer unlimited but if anyone can tell me what the difference is would be big help. posted a few pic of the power steps thanks bill
My main concern would be the distance from the frame to the outside edge of the body. I doubt that the CJ and Unlimited would be the same, but then again I'm guessing. Congrats on winning the auction.
