I got rid of my TJs Death Wobble for a few months but it's back. For some reason (I suspect I bent something off road) it was toed in about 1.5 inches too much. The tires were wearing on the outsides and I got a severe DW at about 70. I aligned it (with a tape measure), replaced the shot aftermarket trac bar and it was great...for a few months. Now, I get a minor DW at 55 mph. Faster or slower is no problem. My factory Trac bar is worn and I want to get a new one. I only have about 3" of lift so I need one that's only slightly longer than stock. Any reccomendations?
Also, if I did bend a tie rod off road, I want to replace the tie rod/drag link assembly. The Currie system is about $400. I am sure that it's worth the coin, but I think it may be overkill for my Jeep. There is a Rugged Ridge brand for less, but I have never heard of it. Sounds like Steelhorse to me. Quadratec sells it for $230.
